The successful domestic tourism campaign dubbed Tulambule was in the northern region of Uganda. The campaign, led by the Minister of State for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities Hon. Godfrey Kiwanda Ssubi, is almost one year old, having started in September 2016.
The northern region leg was also graced by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, the Rt. Hon. Jacob Oulanya. Together with the Minister, Hon. Oulanya toured the various tourism sites in northern Uganda including Fort Patiko in Gulu and Aruu Falls in Pader districts.
Hon. Oulanya appealed to the Government to construct roads that lead to the various tourist sites in Acholi and Lango sub-regions to ease movement of tourists and, thus expose the sites.
Also on the Tulambule team was Mr. Opiyo Oloya, a renowned newspaper columnist living in Canada. He lauded Hon. Kiwanda for initiating the campaign.
